Brief Description: Camping in Rancho Cuyamaca State Park, went to bathroom with Gfriend and saw the oddest thing
Full Description: I am an extremely rational and left brained person. I am currently a strait A student at San Diego State University going back to finish a B.S. degree in my late 20's. I would never believe in anything as statistically unlikely as a UFO of alien origins happening upon our little planet, and while I witnessed something that is seemingly unexplainable, I can only assume there is a rational non-alien related explanation. But this experience happened over ten years ago, and I hardly talk about or remember it, recent media coverage of sightings have brought back memories that send chills up and down my body like nothing else can.
I was 17 years old and on summer break from high school. This was 1996 and could have happened anytime in the summer between June and August, not exactly sure as I never really documented the details.
My highschool sweetheart and I went camping in the higher of the two public campground, I belive paso Picacho campground. I have been to this campground many times in the past but never returned, oddly I am thinking about going there in mid may after finals because my interest in camping was jump started by a visit to Yosemite last week.
Anyway it happened sometime between midnight and 2am I assume. My girlfriend and I had to go to the bathroom and got out of the tent and walked over to a tree not too far from the tent. We went on either side of the tree to relieve ourselves and while going to the bathroom I was looking up in the stary sky and noticed a bright white light like the same color but more intense than the color of a star or venus when brightly lit. Something seemed out of place.
When I finished up I noticed my girlfriend was looking up at the same light as she was finishing up... I asked her if she saw what I was looking at and she said yes. She quickly finished and we stood next to eachother and watched this odd star/planet like light move through the sky in a slow and un-aircraft like way and grow in size dramatically, I was thinking is this a satelite or a strange experimental aircraft???
Then after a short time the slow moving light began to zoom in at us, it seemed like it was coming right for us (right now, writing this, the skin on my whole body is crawling with chills) It became frightening and my girlfriend started to panic because it moved at us from such a seemingly distant location to so very close and just overhead. There was no sound, no logical explanation for the way this light grew and moved to us, but her panic probably jump started panic in myself and we moved quickly to the car, got in and started driving down the campground road to escape whatever was coming at us. We could see out the window that whatever it was was indeed following us (odd thing is I cannot say how large it was or how close it really got, but the perception of closeness and impending danger was EXTREMELY REAL) ... We drove a couple hundered yards before I decided that runing from a light in the sky was crazy and pulled over infront of an inhabited campsite. We got out and immeditely noticed the light had backed off but was somehow still present in the sky... (my memory is a little fuzzy about how the light went from chasing us to backing off)... But nonetheless we sat on a log within 40 feet of some stranger's tents, for safety, and saw the light disapear into the star filled night sky. Venus was particularly bright that night and I tried my hardest to rationalize some atmospheric interaction that caused Venus to perform such extremely unusual and unnatural movements, but cannot rationally be satisfied with any such explanation.
I do not remember if we got any sleep that night but the event was real and had a profound impact on me and my girlfriend at the time. We were both completely sober and witnessed the same thing that caused us to drive for our lives and still gives me chills today anytime I recall the vivid details.... Odd thing is that now I reflect on the event some of the temporal aspects of the event seem unclear.. I believe it all happened in 20 minutes or less but upon deeper thought we may have been over an hour.
I would really like to know what I saw that night and find relief in the rational explanation even if it is something as far fetched as an alien drone craft sent to remotely sense our natural resources.... the frustrating thing is that I know I will never know the truth.

Full Description: i was riding my bike and my little sister was riding her skooter then my sister stoped and said whats that and i said maybe its a ufo it was a speck of gray in the sky a longways away and it was moveing exterimely slow and then i couldnt see it any more.oh and i was by my house.i whent in the house to get benoculers but i couldnt find them so i went back out side and it was still there i was so happy iv allways wanted to see a ufo. and i geus i did??? and aftter it went away i whent in side a happy person!!!

Brief Description: It was a craft that darted across the sky and appeared to go vertical at times.
Full Description: was on my way to a technial advisory meeting on the evening I saw the object. I could not stop because of time constraints, however, someone came on the radio and announced they had seen a ufo. I am not sure of the date and year. It was dark so I suspect the time of the year was toward winter. I worked for Volusia County and went to various meetings between Daytona and Edgewater. When I got to the meeting an engineer also remarked on the ufo. It did not strike as one of our aircraft. I am aware of the Harriot Jet which I love. This craft was very high in the night sky so I could define its shape.
I do want to send you some other information. During the eighties, I began drawing pictures of vehicles and what seems to be parts of a ship; also I began to write in symbols. I checked with two psychics 3,000 miles apart and approximately 2-3 years in time frame. They both asked me about the symbols, thinking they may have been Egyptian but they are not. I have since tried to get them interpreted. I attach some of the information.

Brief Description: Circular Light
Full Description: I was taking my golf shoes back to my car after playing golf the evening of 4/22/2008 and was looking up at the stars when I noticed one star get brighter ( about 3 times its normal light ) so I thought it was just a flare or flicker and decided to watch it. The light got brighter and about 3 times larger than its original size, which I thought was strange and thought maybe it was a shooting star coming directly towards me. So I continued to watch and the light stayed motionless for about 4 seconds after getting larger and brighter, then started moving towards the west skyline at a slow pace. As the light traveled to the right it got dimmer until it was no longer visible. The light was not in our atmosphere and was definitely in space and traveled away from the earth and was not a flare, airplane, or shooting star.

Full Description: During the night on March 27th, 2007,in Arlington, TX, I went outside with my friends to show them how well my new telescope worked in the night sky. About then minutes pass, and I just look around the night sky, enjoy the stars, when I see what I believed to be a bright star, at that moment. This "star" was brighter than anyother around it, and it just stood there, very bright and not moving an inch. I then decide to my friends that I wanted to gaze at this beautiful "star". I turn around with my telescope, and in my amazement, this object started moving, fast. It slowed down after coming a quarter off from west, then sped up and got brighter. The moon was nice and big during this moment. It seemed to be flying towards it. After a minute of awkward flight, of extreme stopping, to extreme speeds, it flew, as I saw it, infront of the moon. I expected it to fly accross the moon and appear on the other side. Instead it disapeared. My friends and I all pondered on what this object could have been. I ruled out a helicopter, plane, or comet. In the end, I couldn't figure out what this object was. It was a UFO. Recently my nights have been more or less awkward. I researched on time loss effects, and as I felt them. In a night, I didn't move an inch, and wake up, a mear couple of seconds, before my alarm clock went off. If any physical problems have occured, I don't know, yet some sleepless nights come off some awkward dreams.

Brief Description: i and 6-7 others in 7-11's parkinglot watched a stationary "giamt pack of lifesaver multifruit lifesavers, hover 1200-1500 ft. over the potomac river
Full Description: this occured the cloudy morning after that meteor, streaked across the nightsky of Jersey(joisy in local terms)shaking up a crowd at a football game even. finally hit in upprt new york, i believe.since the rain had stopped; i descided to roll(wheelchair traveler)down the street, a short two blocks, to the 7-11. to get a couple things i needed for breakfast, and maybe scratch a couple tickets for quick cash?(wishful thinking). as i turned to backup their steap ramp, to their doorlevel sidewalk, i noticed something strange, up in the sky in a gap between the clouds to the east. a nice lasy had pulled in,and parked. she walked around her car and asked if there was anything wrong?,i said i hope not, pointing to thegiant roll of "lifesavers",hhanging about a thousand feet,or so, over the potomac river to the east!.several more people had gathered around; wondering what we were staring at, in the partlycloudy earlymorning sky, none had any idea what it was either. one man suggested that maybe "marshal hall amusement park", on the Maryland side of the potomac,might be using a balloon to their finsl "fallfest activities", before they closed for the winter. when i pointed out that it would be in the "landing approach area for national airport", the idea of a "tethered ad ballon" was eliminated quickly. later,absolutely, as a 727 heading into national,to land,flew under this stack(the plane's tailfin reflecting the morningsun. showed the multicolor stack was about 70 feet tall,with 4-5 layers of colored bands). no blinking lights etc. not even metallic glare, only slightly rounded at the top and bottom, maybe 30-40 feet wide,side to side. this may be the answer to where the ufo's that hastled the capital etc., in 1952, vanished to as the jets,from dover afb, came on the scene!. they zoomed up and away then came back under the radar, stacked up quietly and hid in the woods till the jets left, then seperated and went back to their harrassing the capital fun!. what really bugged me, was the fact that my "vhs camcorder" would not work(even with the fullycharged batterypak, i had put in after dinner the nite before!)and opps!!, my lil'35 mm quicky still camera needed the one item seven-eleven did not sell, film!!. asking around the group(now 7-9 watchers!!) i found not one camera, of anykind, was available!. someone said"oh it's going into the clouds", not really however, the wind was blowing the clouds north to south. this giant"lifesaver roll" had not budged, for almost an hour and ahalf!. but, i had to leave at about 7:20 or so, i left for home,to fix and eat breakfast, at last!. as i left, i noticeed the three "watchers" had grown to a crowd of 8 or 10; and the store manager said "i don't know what it is?,but it's great for business". his coffee and donuts were selling, like crazy, no one wanted to leave(and miss a plane knocking it out of the sky??). real disappointment was no reports in the news etc. just dozens of interviews, about the meteor,of the night before,after all it had upset a football game crowd!. several pilots, flying from europe to eastcoast cities, had seen it streak across the sky and gave "NOAH" an approximate location to where it hit in new york. there had been no reports,or complaints,by pilots about an object being in the way as they approched "washington national airport"!!.. a majer question is WHY?!!, those congressional boobs on the hill seem to think the general public is satisfied with their dumb explinations of what we know, we are seeing more and more everyday/or night too. i know there must have been dozens more witness's, up and down the potomac river, from DC to Mt.Vernon, many much closer than we were. maybe you can persuade them to come forward with their story and videos and/or pics. this is one occurence i, and many more, would like a good solid answer for... thankyou for any help, C.E. Brief Description: Saw a disk shaped UFO that looked like a Star Wars type object
Full Description: This is something that has bothered me since I was a kid because I cannot find any other explanation for this other than it was a UFO. I was about 7 or 8 at the time. It was fall and Star Wars had just come out. I was at a friend's house and we were playing in an upstairs bedroom. I heard a whistling noise and went over to the bed to look out the window. I pulled up the shade and saw a large UFO right in front of the window. It was close enough that I could see the outline of a door and there was a red light and a green light underneath it. The angle that I saw was the bottom and the side of the UFO. It was disc shaped, like something you would see in Star Wars or something similar. It was a beige/gold color and there were lines where the metal was fitted together. It was maybe 30-40 feet. I was stunned and told my friend, who came to the window and saw it too. The object hovered outside in front of the window, it was not moving or was not moving very fast when we saw it. We ran downstairs to tell his mom and uncle, but of course they did not believe us.

Full Description: while working out side at the resort we work my co worked and i spotted a rounnd object flying slowl about maybe 100 feet above our resort. it was moving right along the shore line from north to south. we keep a cheap digtal camera in our office . i ran and could only get one shot of it before it picked up speed rapidly and disappeared. the picture isnt good quailty i am afraid but i was excited and the camera is a cheap one. but in the photo you can see my co worker looking up at it in the upper right hand corner

Brief Description: While driving to the airport we saw a black pyramid shaped object in the sky while driving on 81 North on a beautiful clear day.
Full Description: My friend and I were driving to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport in Avoca, Pa. at approximately 11:00 am. My friend was driving,I was in the passenger seat, and my 4 yr old son was in the car seat in the back seat of the car. When we were on 81 North outside of Wilkes-Barre, my friend told me to look in the sky outside his window and tell him what I saw- I had observed him looking at something outside his window and was wondering what he was focused on. I looked out the front windshield by ducking down a little bit and saw a black object in the sky-it looked like a pyramid that was rounded where the points are and the sides looked slightly concave. I was mesmerized by the sight and my friend was relieved that I saw it, as he thought he was going crazy. We kept on trying to explain it as something like a plane,balloon, etc since we were close to the airport, but those explanations didn't fit. It seemed to keep pace with us as we drove 55mph down the highway and I kept wondering if other people saw it, as it was a beautiful morning and the object was very clear and visible. We kept watching and driving and then it shot away extremely fast and was out of site in seconds. It appeared to follow the Susquehanna River north towards the Tunkhannock, Pa area. We were kind of freaked out that we actually saw a UFO. I kept telling people about it, but my friend got mad and started denying it in front of others-he said he didn't want others to think we were crazy. We still talk about it with each other and it still freaks us out.

I was mesmerized by the sight and my friend was relieved that I saw it, as he thought he was going crazy. We kept on trying to explain it as something like a plane,balloon, etc since we were close to the airport, but those explanations didn't fit. It seemed to keep pace with us as we drove 55mph down the highway and I kept wondering if other people saw it, as it was a beautiful morning and the object was very clear and visible. We kept watching and driving and then it shot away extremely fast and was out of site in seconds. It appeared to follow the Susquehanna River north towards the Tunkhannock, Pa area. We were kind of freaked out that we actually saw a UFO. I kept telling people about it, but my friend got mad and started denying it in front of others-he said he didn't want others to think we were crazy. We still talk about it with each other and it still freaks us out.

Full Description: on the morning of 4/10/08 i was on my way to meet a friend. it was easiest for her to spot me if i parked in a gas station, so i did. i was parked on the south east corner facing the west, plain view of oncoming traffic. i was looking for my friend to drive up when i decided to look at the sky. thats when a bright star caught my COMPLETE attention. the star was at a norht west position and it moved slowly like a ballon. thats what i thought it was a shiny ballon but then it stopped. and held its position for a couple of minutes then it begun to move again, i did noticed something else lingering around it but it was to blurry to make out a shape. the ufo then bagan on a straight south movement but in a slow motion pace. then it started getting smaller and smaller thats when i figured it was leaving our atmosphere, it moved up very slow the ufo began to get smaller and smaller and one thing the brightness never faded untill i could not see it any more. i know it was a ufo, i have never seen a ballon or helicopter or plane do anything of what seen that day. specialy it holding its position for a while with out flickering or fading or moving and it could no be a sattelite that fell into our atmosphere then shot back out. i originaly placed a call and left a message and then whent on this site minutes after on my blackberry but was unable to submit a complete report. i now have a home computer and am able to submit a report. im impressed by this sighting but i want to see more.... this is addicting!

Brief Description: "Ribbon" coming off of disc
Full Description: For the past few years I have been seeing things in the sky over the city of Franklin. A few weeks ago I watched a multi-colored disc hover and then float across the sky at the treeline. The object made no noise. Tonight while outside I witnessed it again, however, this time I noticed that it looked different than before and was a little higher in the sky. It would move, hover, move, hover, and then the lights would get really bright. One time a beam of light came out of it as a jet was flying towards it. The jet then changed direction and headed SW instead of SSW the way it had been flying. There was also a jet to the east but it stayed on the same course. The lights that were coming off this thing were unbelievable. They were so bright when the thing was moving. I was so impressed with it that I called my dad to come outside and take a look. I think he was more excited than I was.
I flipped out when I saw the photos I had taken. I have had cable for only eight days and noticed the photos looked similar to what I had seen on ufo hunters on the History channel. To make sure my camera was not acting up I took a photo of the moon and it came out normal. Please use my email address if you wish additional information.

Brief Description: most amazing airborne movement ever seen
Full Description: My brother and I left Chuts landing located on swift creek, at about 5:15a.m. on a clear pre-dawn starlit morning for duck hunting at Klosse's Marsh. Although I don't remember what phase the moon was in, I was able to navigate the sloughs to Klosse's Marsh at full speed in my 14" aluminum craft 40 horse powered Evinrude motor which pushed us along at 30+ mph. Not possible through narrow sloughs unless the starlit conditions are not just right and they were as i did not need my brother who was sitting in the bow to use a spotlight to shine the way. being a short ride of about 3 miles we arrived in the duck blind about 15 minutes later with no change in the black sky back ground and its bright stars. my brother left the boat to go to the blind and i was pulling it onto the small Isle we were hunting from. As he approached the blind he said look at the plane coming in to land and I glanced up to see what appeared to be a single large landing light descending as if it were a plane making an approach for landing. I, said yep your right, but he then said there isn't an airport in this area as the La Crosse airport was due north of us about 10 miles away, by this time I was walking toward him, all the time watching the bright light descending on a slope that looked like a plane preparing to land at a speed that would seem to verify that. The glide path may have been a couple minutes long as by this time we were standing together when I suggested it may be a helicopter with a search light on. seconds later the bright light stopped mid air about 5-10K feet above the Minnesota bluffs. It hovered motionless for about a minute, which confirmed it was as I suggested, a helicopter with its search light on. We then observed it slowly ascending and I said something to the effect I was right again, meaning it was a helicopter, but then half way up to the horizon it went from what one expects to an indescribable speed straight up....amazing yes, but not as amazing as the perfect right turn at the same speed. Its exit took it back towards the same direction that my brother had first seen it, but of course at a altitude I would not venture to guess at. The kicker is just prior to losing sight of this object it appeared to be throwing off sparkles of light. My conclusion and my brothers was we had just witnessed conclusive proof the earth is being visited by exterrestials or by our own kind that have developed the ability to travel back in time. My brother is sharp yet at 72 and I of sound mind have always felt the need to let someone know, hence I have decided to send this to you after listening to a UFO segment on the history channel that mentioned Mufon. Nothing to back up our story but maybe another unknown duck hunter in Klosses Marsh that early October morning, but being a combat vet of Viet Nam I knew how choppers and air craft fly.......they don't and can't do what we saw. it is as vivid to me today as any of my life's experiences, yes that includes combat. Full Description: Once again - I was outside at work and like always I scan the skys to see if I can spot anymore of these bright star-like objects. I saw two again today spaced about 45 minutes apart. I did look periodically throughout the day on my lunch and regular breaks from work, but only saw the two and they were both heading to the South at a leisurely pace again...however the thing is, I KNOW that these objects are just popping up in the sky out of seemingly nowhere because I can cover the entire visible sky in a few seconds visually and suddenly in a spot in the sky that was empty just a second earlier, one of these star-like things show up in it, usually it just sits there for a few seconds and then starts to move. I see other regular aircraft flying at about the same altitude, but they usually leave a contrail and are identifiable, unlike the star-craft things. Something is going on here over Phoenix and I would sure like to know what the hell it is...

Brief Description: Glowing object passes over low and slow.
Full Description: I was having a cigarette near Grubs restaurant just south of the West Ave. and Dickson St. intersection in downtown Fayetteville watching the stars come out. The sun had set not long before and I could barely see blue off to the west. It was a perfectly cloudless evening. It is at that point in time that you can watch the stars just sorta' come out of nowhere. At 9 pm I observed a red glowing object moving into my field of view from just south of due west moving just north of due east. My first thought was that it must be a helicopter because of its altitude and speed. It didn't take long for me to think to myself that it likely wasn't a helicopter because there was no sound and the lighting was unlike any I had seen before (still possibly an apache type military chopper with very little sound, but doubtful because of the colors.) I observed this object passively until I realized it was out of the ordinary. At that point I oriented myself at my best guess of due south and clapped off a 40 degree field of view to time the object through. 20 seconds, give or take. The object was situated approximately 35 degrees off the horizon and was the size of a dime at arm's length, or .06' and the object appeared, at best guess, to be 1/4 of a mile south of me moving east. If my (and a couple of coworkers) calculations are correct this means that the object was moving east at an altitude of about 924' above my current elevation of roughly 1,300' at a speed of about 158 mph and was 32' in diameter. The glow of the object was very interesting. It had the appearance of having two separate lights. One on top and one on bottom. The former stayed on constantly while the latter pulsated in brightness without ever going out. While at its brightest I believe I could see the hull of the object in between the two lights. It appeared to be a dull gray behind the red glow. When the object crossed my field of view (due south) however, there was another light. Now I was looking at this thing from a left rear perspective and I could see a fairly intense yellowish white glow from behind. (perhaps this is why people seem to think the thing changes colors? changes directional rotation relative to observer, or even pass them leaving them to look at it from another angle?) Once again, I have battled with the thought of a helicopter or even perhaps a small aircraft but I cannot see it. The wind was gentle out of the south at about 5mph. If there was anything to hear the wind would have pushed it my way. Considering the oddity of the object and the fairly quiet evening even in downtown I am CONFIDENT I would have heard something... anything. No sound. There was also a passenger jet passing overhead at the same time and in the same field of view but much, much higher. Back to the time of day - the passenger jet was high enough in the sky that it was still catching sunlight. I could see the shape of the jet and even a portion of its contrail. The object in question was low enough and close enough to be completely dark other than the glow of the lights. At the time of the sighting and afterwards I had no abnormal feelings. I was just really intrigued by the object. Since then I have questioned myself about the altitudes and distances a few times but I am confident in my analysis and near 100% on the math. This is the fourth time in my life I have observed what, to me, was a UFO but this was probably the most significant considering I have a firm timetable and measurement process to work from. The other times all caught me off guard and two of them were before I ever joined the military and later became a land surveyor.

Brief Description: A Sphere of Orange/Fire-like "orb", which sort of "rotated" its brightness off in the distance, just over tree lines, which moved diagonally over 50ft. space for over an hour.
Full Description: Believe me, I am reluctant to report this as I am my own worst critic when it comes to seeing UFO's in the sky, especially since I am so into the UFO phenomenon. I've seen several strange lights in the sky's over the years, none of which I truly felt I had enough of to classify as a "UFO". However, over the past week and a half, several nights, in the exact same direction and skyline, I have seen this object, which behaves unlike any plane I have ever seen! The first night, about a week and a half ago, I was walking around 9:00pm at night when, on my way home, after star-gazing, I witnessed off in the distance, probably about 100-150ft. away, I noticed a very strange orangish/fire-colored "orb" or "sphere" in the skyline just over the tree-line. I watched it, thinking it was the planet Mars or Jupiter and then I saw it moving. But not JUST moving, but swaying back and forth, going one direction and then the other. I started walking faster towards the object and realized there may have been more than one, but I wasn't sure. I kept approaching until I realized I WAS getting closer and that it wasn't, unlike a plane which continues typically in a single direction until out of sight, wasn't really going anywhere. It didn't really change brightness much at first, and then, upon cutting thru some yards, as I got closer, I found it again and as I saw it, it started to glow VERY bright like a fire and then I lost it. I didn't see it leave, I just lost it. Two nights later, looking in the EXACT same direction as the other night, I saw the same object in roughly the same place, however I couldn't really track for long. That same day, just before a hail storm I saw another strange, white object, soar overhead. Now, a few days pass, and then LAST NIGHT, I caught the very same object in the sky, the SAME PLACE/SAME TIME as I had seen it before. This time, I decided to track it as long and far as I could. I got my binoculars and started on my way. It, again, was unlike any plane I'd ever seen. You could see it easily moving in the skyline, however, it changed direction a multitude of times, sort of diagnolly moving, like it was searching... It seemed to rotate in brightness... Getting VERY, VERY bright orange at one point, then lighter and lighter until finally, becoming two little "blips" of a red dot and a whitish-blue dot... When I first saw the "dots" I thought, "that's gotta be a plane", but, I've never seen a plane hover in roughly the same area for over an hour! I tracked it to the school, and then I lost it. When I found it about 30 yards in the other direction, I peered thru the binoculars, which, when doing so, it appeared as if it were ONE SINGLE "ORB", which had an orangish-fire color overall, but you could also see red, green, blue and purple colors ALL WITHIN THE ORANGE OF THE ORB, NOT to the sides of it! Again, it moved diagnolly thru the horizon and, on foot, I tracked it for over an hour in roughly a 50-100ft. diameter. It NEVER went too far and IT ALWAYS CAME BACK WHEN IT DID, always moving back and forth, back and forth in the sky, ALWAYS getting brighter and brighter until it appeared to be ON FIRE and then getting dimmer and dimmer until only one or two slight little "dots" or "blips" appeared... But again, it never left the airspace of the general vicinity and continued in a back and forth motion gradually continuing South/Southeast until it was too far for me to continue tracking. At one point, however, it DID travel MUCH faster across the treetops to the Eastern direction. I have NEVER seen this type of thing before, and my only hesitation was that the object was never within a 100 ft. or less from me... But, it ALWAYS appears in the SAME SPOT around THE SAME TIME everynight, in the South direction just about Rochester Rd. and 18 mile

Full Description: Believe me, I am reluctant to report this as I am my own worst critic when it comes to seeing UFO's in the sky, especially since I am so into the UFO phenomenon. I've seen several strange lights in the sky's over the years, none of which I truly felt I had enough of to classify as a "UFO". However, over the past week and a half, several nights, in the exact same direction and skyline, I have seen this object, which behaves unlike any plane I have ever seen! The first night, about a week and a half ago, I was walking around 9:00pm at night when, on my way home, after star-gazing, I witnessed off in the distance, probably about 100-150ft. away, I noticed a very strange orangish/fire-colored "orb" or "sphere" in the skyline just over the tree-line. I watched it, thinking it was the planet Mars or Jupiter and then I saw it moving. But not JUST moving, but swaying back and forth, going one direction and then the other. I started walking faster towards the object and realized there may have been more than one, but I wasn't sure. Brief Description: Orange amber ball of light and TONS of military jets and something crashed!!!!!!!!!!!
Full Description: i had my camcorder out and had driven to Jackson Morrow Park to watch for the orange balls of light. I had seen them again yesterday and the weather was such that I thought tonight might be a good night to see them again. I am DETERMINED to get these bastards on video tape! I KNOW I will.. Anyway, I get to the park and shut off the lights and my car. The sun has just gone down. I sat there for about 20 minutes and got bored so I called my friend Tim, in Florida. I think we were on the phone for about 10 minutes when the OBOL showed up in the northwestern sky. It was about 45 degrees from the horizon and it was REALLY bright! it was HUGE. Like a baby aspirin at arms length. It was a yellowish amber orange color. And very sparkly. I grabbed for the camcorder and the bastard vanished. Just quickly grew smaller and then vanished. And there was NOTHING where it had been. No craft or anything. There was enough moonlight that I could have seen a big craft but there was nothing. This is what sometimes happens so I got the camcorder up for more. They usually start to pop in, one by one till 2 or 3 or more appear and then they pop out the same way. Well, this one was the only one. No more came. Something was up. Within a few minutes the sky was ABSOLUTELY filled with what I called "fireflies". They were small jet aircraft. I could hear them. They were flying in double "V" formations and they were all over the sky where the light has just been. I watched as they made several sweeps of the area. 3 or 4 would break formation and swing back around toward the south and then make a tight turn back to the north. They did not have their red and green wing lights on but they did have on their strobes, so I could follow them, but it made it harder. That "firefly" effect was crazy! They were EVERYWHERE! Damn, more started showing up and I had a hard time counting them or keeping track of all of them! The sky was crawling with aircraft! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! After a few minutes they broke away and started moving to the north in small groups. WHAT A SHOW THIS WAS!!! While this was going on, I called Glenn Means, in Peru. I had him on the phone telling him what I was seeing so you can ask him about the freaked out tone in my voice! I had a weird feeling about what I was seeing. Like something was wrong. Something was up. Something BIG. For the record, I was sitting in the parking lot at Jackson Morrow, the lot by the volley ball nets. I was facing the west and scanning the sky from north to south.. I was just west of US 31 at Center Road. (300S) After the jets left and it seemed as if there wasn't going to be any more OBOL tonight, I took my cameras and went home. Once I arrived, I stood outside for a few minutes, camera in hand, watching. Waiting for something I could feel in the air. At about 10:10 PM I finally gave up and came in. I got my jammies on and went into my office to work. At precisely 10:24 PM there was a tremendous explosion outside my window. The window shook, my chair shook, my monitor shook, and it sounded like something fell on my roof and then off. (I need to go outside and see if there is anything or anybody laying in my yard!) I thought I had seen a flash of light out the window in my office that faces southwest. It all happened so fast I can't remember if I saw the flash before or after the explosion. I jumped up and ran in to the bedroom and woke Dave up screaming, "something is wrong, something is wrong!" I had the hair standing up all over my body. I still do! About 5 minutes later my son, Casey, called me. He is at the cab company in town. He says, "Mom, are you guys okay?" I said, "yeah, why?" And he proceeds to tell me that a plane has crashed close to our house! I jumped up and ran into the bedroom to tell Dave and then I called Glen back. I ran outside to see if I can smell anything or see anything. I can't do either. I DO hear dogs howling and barking like mad again. So I go back inside and up to my office to flip on the TV because it's 11 PM now and the news is coming on. First off the bat is a BREAKING NEWS: Explosion in Tipton County at the Howard/Tipton County line! They had a caller from Kokomo on the phone. She said that someone reported seeing 2 bright flashes of light and then the explosion happened. And the report said there was MUCH debris strewn about the area. NOW they've come back on and said the FAA in Indianapolis reports NO MISSING PLANES! I am here to tell you right now, that explosion has something to do with the military and that bright amber orange light I saw tonight. I SAW the LIGHT! I SAW the JETS SCRAMBLE AND SWEEP THE AREA AFTER THE LIGHT DISAPPEARED. I HAVE A STRONG FEELING THOSE MILITARY JETS AND THAT BRIGHT LIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS CRASH. I WITNESSED SOMETHING TONIGHT. I have been thinking about skywatching all day today. I knew I was going out tonight and I had a strong feeling I was going to see something but I didn't think it was gonna be like this! I tell you there were at least 10 military jets sweeping that area after the light appeared and they were flying without their wing lights on. Something was up and I HAVE NO DOUBT this crash is related to what I saw

Full Description: i was standing in front of my home there were other people on the street i looked up to the north east sky and very high up there was a white object egg shaped i think hard to tell from so far but it wasnt a plane it was travelling very fast north to south no contrail i tried to get my husband and daughters attention to it but by the time they looked it had shot up into the atmosphere in a second it crossed that sky very fast. for a second, because it was so white, i thought maybe it was a seagull and i was misinterpreting its distance however when it shot higher into the atmosphere i knew it wasnt a bird. i wish that someone else on the street was looking up but as is so typical in our society no one was looking up. since i saw it i have been going outside looking up there 6 or 7 times a day i cant forget. i want to see it again with someone who can tell me what it was.

Brief Description: I wittnessed a UFO being fired upon with small arms by the city police in Evansviile IN in 1953
Full Description: As a child of six years old I was playing in the alley beside our home in the 400 block of third Street, Evansville, IN, in August of 1953. My mother was in the kitchen at the sink which overlooked alley where I was playing. I heard a loud humming sound overhead, There was a large silvery colored globe approx 100reet in . ft in diameter over a tree beside the alley. about fifty foot in the air, the loud humming sound was coming from it. The globe had a band of portal windows that circled around the globe. Humanoid figures were pearing out those portals watching me play. My mother seeing the craft sent for my father to get me in the house. She called the police. Numerous police cars arrived in moments. The police began firing at the globe with rifles, pistols and shotguns. That went on for about one hour. The craft never seemed to be hit are damaged. Then it finally just went straight up into the air until it disappeared. I had a large bushel basket of those shell casings that I picked up out of the alley until I threw them away as a freshman in high school.

Brief Description: Large bright and bold yellow half-circle in the sky that hovered in one spot before moving on.
Full Description: At about 4:50am On April 16th, I couldn't sleep because I was extremely hungry so I went downstairs to the kitchen to get some cereal. After fixing a bowl of cereal I was leaving the kitchen when I spotted an unusual glowing object in the sky out of the front door windows.
Im awake in the a.m. hours every day so it takes something pretty unusual to catch my eye. The object I saw was just visible above the tree line at the end of the street. Distance wise it appeared to be above the next neighborhood over but I can't be for certain.
At first I thought to myself that it must the moon, but it was such a bold yellow color and I had never seen the moon look that way before. It was a half-circle boomerang shape with the bow of it facing toward the ground which also seemed unusual to me. As far as I could tell it appeared to simply be hovering over one spot. At 4:50am we still have roughly 2 hours until daylight aswell so this left me more confused. The object also had an aura-like glow to it like the sun during the sunset hours but this was long before even sunrise.
My first reaction when I noticed this object was one of skepticism. That initial reaction quickly turned into disbelief as I went back upstairs to get another look at it from higher up. I've always been a believer in UFOs, but I had never seen one myself prior to this so I tried to remain skeptical.
After my second look at the object I sat down at my computer desk to file a UFO report. I first checked to see if I could find any reports of other people seeing strange things in other parts of the state recently. After about 2 minutes I looked for the object again and it was slightly lowered so that I could barely make it out through the tree tops. After that I came to the Mufon website to file my report. When I looked outside again after about another 45 seconds, the object was gone. Im not sure if it landed somewhere or left the area but the last time I saw the object it was lowering more toward the horizon.
My first thought of it possibly being the moon was dispelled after it dissapeared so quickly. The moon takes a lot longer than 10 minutes to move that distance and as I said at this time of morning there is almost 2 hours until daylight left.
It should probably be noted that Fort Knox is only 11 miles from my home. They do fly aircraft in and out of there, but they seldomly pass over this area and when they do its easy to hear. The object I saw made no sound and it was a very solid shape and color, not a flashing light.

At 4:50am we still have roughly 2 hours until daylight aswell so this left me more confused. The object also had an aura-like glow to it like the sun during the sunset hours but this was long before even sunrise.
My first reaction when I noticed this object was one of skepticism. That initial reaction quickly turned into disbelief as I went back upstairs to get another look at it from higher up. I've always been a believer in UFOs, but I had never seen one myself prior to this so I tried to remain skeptical.
After my second look at the object I sat down at my computer desk to file a UFO report. I first checked to see if I could find any reports of other people seeing strange things in other parts of the state recently. After about 2 minutes I looked for the object again and it was slightly lowered so that I could barely make it out through the tree tops. After that I came to the Mufon website to file my report. When I looked outside again after about another 45 seconds, the object was gone. Im not sure if it landed somewhere or left the area but the last time I saw the object it was lowering more toward the horizon.
My first thought of it possibly being the moon was dispelled after it dissapeared so quickly. The moon takes a lot longer than 10 minutes to move that distance and as I said at this time of morning there is almost 2 hours until daylight left.
It should probably be noted that Fort Knox is only 11 miles from my home. They do fly aircraft in and out of there, but they seldomly pass over this area and when they do its easy to hear. The object I saw made no sound and it was a very solid shape and color, not a flashing light.
